Scientific Director

Xenophon Contiades
Xenophon Contiades is Professor of Public and Social Law and Dean at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Peloponnese. He is also Scientific Director of the Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistokles & Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation (since 1995). He teaches at the Hellenic Open University and at the National Centre for Public Administration. He has published 20 monographies in public and European law, over seventy articles in the Greek, English and German languages in the fields of public law, social security, and EU law. He has participated as scientific coordinator, researcher or expert in many international research, instititution building and technical assistance projects worldwide.

Executive Director – Director of International Projects

Maria Mousmouti
̀aria Mousmouti is lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association (since 2000), with postgraduate studies in Comparative European Social Security Law. She cooperates with the Centre for European Constitutional Law as a Research Associate since 1999 and was appointed Director of International Projects in 2002. She was Research Assistant to MEP Prof. Dr. Dimitris Tsatsos, providing support to his work at the European Parliament from 2002 to 2004. She has extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating European and international projects, performing training needs assessment, planning and implementing training programmes worldwide. She has vast research experience in the fields of judicial sector reform, public administration restructuring, social policies and human rights. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, has working knowledge of German and basic knowledge of Arabic.

Financial and Administrative Director

Giannis Mparkas
Giannis Mparkas graduated from the Department of Social Policy of Panteion University. He holds a Postgraduate degree (MSc) in Health Care Management from the National School of Public Health. He ws appointed Financial and Administrative Director of the Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistokles & Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation in 2010. He is fluent in English and he has basic knowledge of Italian.

Development assistance projects coordinator

Annie Kamarioti
Annie Kamarioti has a bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and a Master's degree in International Relations-Political and Economic Development from Columbia University. She is fluent in English, German and French.

Tender preparation coordinator

Cleopatra Christopoulou
Cleopatra Christopoulou has a Law degree from the University of Athens and has worked as a journalist. She is fluent in English and French and has basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish.

Twinning projects coordinator

Popi Sereti
Popi Sereti has a bachelor degree in Political and International Studies from Middlesex University of London and a Master’s degree in International Criminal Law from the University of Sussex. She is fluent in English and she has basic knowledge of French.

Head of Secretariat - Coordinator of scientific events

Natasa Kaoustou
Natasa Kaoustou has been part of the secretariat team of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2002 and in 2003 she became head of secretariat and executive secretary of the Honorary President Dimitris Th. Tsatsos. She is fluent in English.

Librarian

Chryssoula Kolitsa
Chryssoula Kolitsa has a degree in library administration science and information systems. She is fluent in English.

Accountant

Nikos Konstantis
Nikos Kostantis is a graduate of the University of Piraeus and has a postgraduate degree in marketing (University of Wales). He is member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and has extensive accounting experience. He is the Head Accountant of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 1995. He is fluent in English.

Program budgeting department coordinator

Manolis Trepas
Manolis Trepas has a degree in Business Management from the Higher Technological Education Institute of Athens. Since 2006 he is an MSc candidate in Shipping in the University of Piraeus. He works at the financial department of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2005. He is responsible in the department of programme budgeting since 2006. He is fluent in English.

Beatrice Giannoglou

Beatrice Giannoglou is senior undergraduate candidate in the Department of International and European Studies of the Panteion University. She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

IT Support

Ioannis Pelekoudas
Ioannis Pelekoudas is IT specialist and Mechanic Engineer. He has extensive experience in IT support and database software. He is responsible for the IT support of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2004. He is fluent in English and Italian.
