Scientific Director

Xenophon Contiades

Xenophon Contiades is Professor of Public and Social Law at the School of Social Sciences, at the University of Peloponnese and Scientific Director of the Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistocles & Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation (since 1995). He is also teaching at the Hellenic Open University and at the National Centre for Public Administration. He has published 15 monographies in public and european law, over sixty articles in the Greek, English and German languages in the fields of public law, social security, and EU law. He has participated as a Scientific Coordinator, researcher or expert in many international research, instititution building and technical assistance projects world wide.

Executive Director – Director of International Projects

Maria Mousmouti

̀aria Mousmouti is Lawyer at the Athens Bar (since 2000) with postgraduate studies in comparative European social security law. She cooperates with the Centre for European Constitutional Law as a Research Associate since 1999 and as Director of International Projects since 2002. She was Research Assistant to MEP Prof. Dr. Dimitris Tsatsos for the support of his work at the European Parliament from 2002 to 2004. She has extensive experience in planning, managing and evaluating European and international projects, in performing training needs assessment, planning and executing training programmes worldwide. She also has extensive research experience. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, has a working knowledge of German and basic knowledge of Arabic.

Financial and Administrative Director

Michalis Kakouros

Michalis Kakouros graduated from the Department of Social Administration of Democritus University of Thrace with specialization in Social Policy. He is a holder of a Postgraduate degree (MSc) in International Health Policy (London School of Economics and Political Science) with further training in Health Economics field (Harvard School of Public Health). Currently, he is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Social and Educational Policy of University of Peloponnese, with main academic subject the Preparedness of Public Health Services. Since 2009, he has been appointed Financial and Administrative Director of the Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistocles & Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation. He is fluent in English language.

Coordinator of Development Assistance Projects

Lina Vaianou

Lina Vaianou has obtained a BA (Hous) in Political Sciences from the University of W.E. Bristol, UK, a Postgraduate degree in "European Union and developing countries" (Panteion University, Jean Monnet Chair), as well as a MSc(Econ) in Security Studies, from the Department of International Politics of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She is fluent in English and Italian.

Anni Kamarioti

Anni Kamarioti has a bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and a Master's degree in International Relations-Political and Economic Development from Columbia University. She is fluent in English, German and French.

Veatriki Giannoglou

Veatriki Giannoglou is undergraduate from the Department of International and European Studies of Panteion University. She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

Despina Agathagelou

Holds a university degree in European and International Studies and has a Master in International Law from Panteion University. She is fluent in English, French and Serbo/Croatian.

Coordinator of Twinning Projects

Popi Sereti

Popi Sereti has a Bachelor degree in Political and International Studies from Middlesex University of London and a Master’s degree in international criminal law (University of Sussex). She is fluent in English and she has basic knowledge of French.

Head of Secretariat - Coordinator of Scientific Events

Natasa Kaoustou

Natasa Kaoustou is working in the secretariat team of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2002 and in 2003 she became head of secretariat and executive secretary of the Honorary President Dimitris Th. Tsatsos. She is fluent in English.

Librarian

Chryssoula Kolitsa

Chryssoula Kolitsa has degree of Librarianship and Systems of Information. She is fluent in English.

Accountant

Nikos Konstantis

Kostantis Nikos is a graduate of the University of Piraeus and has postgraduate studies in marketing (University of Wales). He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and he has an extensive experience as Accountant. He is the Accountant of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 1995. He is fluent in English.

Responsible for Budgets' Execution

Manolis Trepas

Manolis Trepas has studied Business Management in Higher Institute for Technological Education of Athens. Since 2006 he is undertaking an MSc in Maritime in the University of Piraeus. He is working for the financial department of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2005. He is responsible for the sector of execution of budgets since 2006. He is fluent in English.

IT Support

Ioannis Pelekoudas

Ioannis Pelekoudas is IT specialist and Mechanic Engineer. He has a long experience in IT support and in Data Base software. He is responsible for the IT support of the Centre for European Constitutional Law since 2004. He is fluent in English and Italian.
