Period July 2007 - October 2007 Project Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises Objectives The present study responds to the need for a concrete and long-term treatment of the issue of urban planning and simplification of the process for issuing environmental permit for tourist lodgings, in order to effectively contribute to the viable economic and social development of the national and regional space. The study focuses on the Constitutional and European framework, a review of pertinent Jurisprudence, rationalisation and facilitation of the process for issuing a permit and regulatory proposals.
