Objectives
The project aims at the comparative analysis and evaluation of policies for crime prevention in Greece, Italy and Cyprus. In specific, the project will focus on the factors that lead in taking measures for the prevention of crime, the perspectives and the restrictions of the existing legislative and administrative framework, the financial consequences of prevention policies and best practices for the promotion of the feeling of security of the citizens. The project includes the following activities: a) comparative analysis b) international conference c) creation of a portal d) publication of the conclusions of the research.
