Study on strategic and methodological conditions for the redesign of civil protection in Greece

Period September 2008 - November 2008 Project Operational Programme “Information Society”, Measure 5.1 Objectives The project aims at the elaboration of a study on the strategic and methodological conditions for the redesign of civil protection in Greece, placing special emphasis on forest fire management. The study focuses on the following: a) recording and analysis of the actual situation in the field of civil protection services, b) elaboration of an Action Plan for the implementation of a new administrative model for crisis management, c) elaboration of substantiated proposals for ensuring the sustainability of the proposed policy measures.
