Qualifications and skills
  • University degree in law
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Russian or Kazakh would be considered as a comparative advantage
General professional experience
  • Experience in international projects implemented outside the beneficiary country
  • Experience in NIS countries, preferably in the Central Asian region, would be considered as a comparative advantage
Specific professional experience
  • Three years of experience in leading international project teams; more years would be considered as a comparative advantage
  • Experience in providing training courses
  • Experience in working on judicial and/or legal reform projects would be considered as a comparative advantage
  • Experience in working in a legal department of a public or semi-public institution outside the beneficiary country would be considered as a comparative advantage
  • Experience in working as a judge and/or a court lawyer and/or a ministry of justice staff member in an EU country would be considered as a distinct advantage
