Objectives
The overall objective of the project is to analyse the five years of implementation of the network of independent experts in fundamental rights as a preparatory action and to provide guidance as to possible successor action in monitoring respect of fundamental rights. The project also aims to assess the network as an instrument for delivering reliable and up-to date assessment of the implementation by the European Union institutions and by the member States of each of the fundamental rights laid down in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. The project is structured on the following components a) desk research and stakeholder interviews b) focus group meeting c) results analysis and final reporting.
